Full review Here. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory often comes to mind when I think about Black Moth Super Rainbow. Both are ostensibly inviting and sweet, bordering on the saccharine at times, but there’s a constant sense of unease and dread that pervades them. Despite the ultimately optimistic tone, 'Wonka' is filled with unscrupulous and malicious characters and some downright demented lysergic inspired imagery. Similarly, BMSR craft outwardly cheery pop songs that most often contain a sour morsel in the center, a combination of the cringe inducing and welcoming, much like I imagine “hairy candy” or “berries that burn” would seem...
